Rob Balsdon
Kelowna, BC

Rob Balsdon is originally from Ontario where he attended an arts school for acting but when his report cards all said the same thing, "behaviour sometimes distracts others," he knew comedy was calling.

Now making his home in Kelowna BC, Rob also works in radio as both a producer and announcer. Whether he is on-air or on stage Rob combines a brutal honesty with a likable innocence and a very quick wit; beware, his contagious smile!

Rob has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Canadian comedy including Brent Butt from Corner Gas, Gerry Dee from CBC's Mr. D and Canadian comedy legend Mike MacDonald. Recently Rob was lucky enough to work with one of his idols when he opened for film star and SNL alum Norm MacDonald! From life's guilty pleasures like television and video games to sports, school and relationships Rob's been there and done it wrong, and he's been sharing his stories all across Canada for the past 10 years. Rob always puts on a high energy and thought provoking show that will bring audiences together and truly make them think.

Byron Bertram
Vancouver, BC

Like a bird flu on international flight, Byron Bertram travels well. His innate talent for voices and accents mixed with a confident vulnerability has taken him across the world and established him internationally as one of the top Canadian comics working today.

He has worked on stage with the likes of Zach Galifinakis, Flight of the Concords, and Eddie Izzard, and has received rave reviews for his one man show "Guilt Ridden Sociopath". He can be seen on ABC’s Once Upon a Time and in Tim Burton’s most recent release, Big Eyes.

Having come from an artistic background (father a musician, mother an artist, and grandfather the famous painter, Toni Onley) Byron Bertram’s extroverted personality comes naturally. With his training in drama, performing arts, and circus skills, he began performing street theatre at an early age, and subsequently performed at festivals around the world (The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, The Halifax Buskers Festival, The Singapore River Festival, The Vancouver Comedy Festival, etc.).

From there, it was a natural progression to stand-up comedy, which he has performed at comedy fests and venues worldwide, from Europe to Australia, to the USA. A physical comedian who specializes in voices, accents, and impersonations, he gains new accolades and fans whenever and wherever he performs
