“Brush up on your sit-ups before you see this show, otherwise, your stomach muscles will hurt the next day!”
“One of the best crowd work comedians working today!”
About the show
Laugh for a great cause! The Kelowna All-Star Cheer Society is raising money to help two elite Kelowna Cheer Athletics teams compete against the best in the world at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
The night features a bar, a snack concession, a 50/50 draw, raffle prizes and a silent auction, plus a stand-up comedy show headlined by Mike Dambra. Thank you to ProSource Irrigation for sponsoring the event!
The Road to Worlds: Recon, an Open Aged Level 6 non-tumbling team, is vying for a spot at The Cheerleading Worlds (April 23–26, 2027), and Stealth, a U16 Level 2 team, is going for a bid to The Summit (April 29–May 2, 2027). Both competitions take place at the ESPN centre at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, a huge opportunity for these local athletes to compete on a global scale.
Mike Dambra has spent more than 35 years on stages across North America and is known as the smart-ass king of comedy. His razor-sharp wit and fearless crowd work mean no two shows are ever the same.
Originally from Rochester, New York, and now living in Edmonton, Alberta, Mike has worked with acts from Mick Foley to Michael Bolton, Adam Sandler to Jim Breuer, and Rosie O'Donnell to Paul Reiser.
